There’s no better way to celebrate the season than by gathering around good food and good company. Join Slow Food Hudson Valley at Branchwater Farms for our annual Gift of Warmth—a heartfelt afternoon of sharing, giving, and community.

Bake (or thoughtfully source) two dozen of your favorite cookies to share, and take home a festive assortment. Please make a small sign for your cookies noting the name and ingredients. Bring non-perishable food items to donate — all proceeds will support Willow Roots Food Pantry and neighbors in need.

We’ll be serving Louisiana Cajun Turkey Gumbo and Gumbo Z’herbes over rice, with warm apple cider on the side — the kind of food that warms the soul.

Now more than ever, small acts of generosity make a big difference. Each cookie shared, each can donated, each moment spent together helps remind us of what this season truly means — community, kindness, and care.

At Slow Food Hudson Valley, we believe in food that is good, clean, and fair for all — food that nourishes, connects, and strengthens our communities. This gathering is one small way to honor that belief and to share the simple gift of warmth with one another.

All you need to bring are cookies, food items for the drive, and most importantly, Holiday Cheer.
